About Sarah

Sarah has over a decade of experience working with local and regional governments to advance clean transportation. As a Director at Hua Nani Partners, she uses this expertise to maximize the impact of subnational climate action by bringing together stakeholders, providing technical expertise, and leveraging proven solutions. 

Prior to joining Hua Nani Partners, Sarah was the Director of Programs at the Electrification Coalition (EC) where she led many key programs including the Climate Mayors Electric Vehicle Purchasing Collaborative, the U.S. Virgin Islands EV Roadmap, rental car and tourism efforts with the State of Colorado, and engagement with cities through the American Cities Climate Challenge. In 2020, Sarah was named a 30 under 30 Sustainability Professional by GreenBiz. Before the EC, Sarah served as a program coordinator for the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC), where she engaged with regional council members on transportation policy and funding at the federal level. 

Sarah holds a BS in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from UC Davis. While at UC Davis, Sarah worked for the National Center for Sustainable Transportation organizing research releases and information sharing between researchers and policymakers. Sarah was also the captain of the UC Davis Dance Team.  

Sarah lives on the beautiful Central Coast of California, where she grew up, with her husband Ryan, daughter Abigail, and rescue pup Scout. In her free time, she likes to read historical fiction, walk by the ocean, and spend time with her extended family.
