About Melissa

Melissa brings almost 20 years of business design, strategy, and financial management experience in the climate and renewable energy space to Hua Nani Partners. As Finance Lead and Accounting Manager, she oversees business accounting, financial forecasting, and analytics.

Prior to joining Hua Nani Partners, Melissa co-founded an award-winning worker-cooperative business in Berkeley, California. Melissa supports many women-owned businesses, cooperative businesses, and innovative companies with her expertise in financial operations, analysis, and strategic growth.

Melissa holds a BA from UC Berkeley in Peace and Conflict Studies. She lives in Arcata, California with her family and enjoys crafting, mountain biking, live music, and learning how to surf from her 12-year-old.
