About Ava

Ava comes to Hua Nani Partners with a background in climate communications and policy research on the national scale. At Hua Nani, Ava provides research, writing, and strategic planning support for a portfolio of projects related to state and federal policy implementation, climate coalition building, and decarbonization.

Prior to joining Hua Nani Partners, Ava worked as a federal government contractor, supporting EPA and USAID projects related to energy efficiency, resilience, and climate change adaptation, specifically through developing and implementing communications plans and tactics. Ava has also worked in business development, supporting bid and capture strategies across energy, environment, and public health portfolios.

Ava holds a B.A. in Government, Justice & Peace Studies, and Economics from Georgetown University, where she was a George F. Baker Scholar.

Ava currently lives in Washington, D.C., and enjoys riding her bike, volunteering with her local animal rescue, and drinking espresso.
