About Rebecca

Rebecca brings cross-sectoral sustainability research and community outreach expertise to Hua Nani Partners. As an Associate, she supports equitable climate solutions with policy research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, and technical assistance to secure federal funding.

Prior to joining Hua Nani Partners, Rebecca worked with The Nature Conservancy as a research analyst supporting Global Science capacity building and evaluating the effectiveness of cross-sectoral sustainability solutions. She also coordinated, evaluated, and secured funding for community-based programs at Ho'okua'āina, a Native-Hawaiian biocultural restoration nonprofit.

Rebecca holds a B.A. in Global Studies with a concentration in Environmental Health and Development from the University of California, Berkeley. She also competed as a Track and Field Scholarship Student-Athlete, earning All-Academic and All-American honors.

Rebecca grew up in the UK and currently lives in Honolulu, Hawai'i, where you can find her surfing, farming, and sewing in her free time.
